General Mills wished to integrate sampling and cooking demonstrations of their Old El Paso range within Westfield stores, as part of the 'Mex n Match' promotion to drive supermarket sales and create an awareness of the promotion.

The Background

General Mills wished to integrate sampling and cooking demonstrations of their Old El Paso range within Westfield stores, as part of the 'Mex n Match' promotion to drive supermarket sales and create an awareness of the promotion.

Brandstand NZ was engaged to build a promotional stand that allowed for live cooking demonstrations from a fully functioning kitchen and sampling of the Old El Paso Quesadilla Kit.

The campaign was a complete success with the uptake in competition entries and sales better than originally estimated.
