GlaxoSmithKline worked with Brandstand NZ to promote their new Macleans Iso Active™ toothpaste in a range of shopping malls across the country. The purpose of the campaign was to encourage the trial of the product by engaging shoppers, communicate the benefits to a wide audience and create an atmosphere of fun.

The Background

The Macleans Iso Active mall demonstration was an experiential sampling activation created by Brandstand NZ for GlaxoSmithKline to promote the Macleans Iso Active toothpaste range in shopping malls. The campaign focused on creating an interactive environment that encouraged shoppers to stop, engage with the brand, and trial the product

The Result

Brandstand described the activation as “fun and interactive” in order to interrupt shoppers within a busy mall environment and generate engagement. The custom-made display formed part of their FMCG and experiential marketing portfolio alongside other major mall sampling campaigns such as Macleans Advanced, Sensodyne, and Revlon

The experiential display was well executed and highly effective in attracting shoppers within the mall environment
